it didnt come w/ enough of the headfone 3/32 wire so i had to go get a extender, other than that they said it wasnt that hard. charged me $104 to install which was 1.5 hours of labor

when i had charles install mine, the way it was wired there wasnt enough of the 3/32 headfone wire. so i have to go out and buy an extenstion for it. right now the wire is exposed and running over my dash! haah but its fine when i get some time ill get an extention. either way its a great setup really easy to read even while at WOT you can quickly glance over and imediatly know where ur at. also the record feature is great.

jaki - i havnt picked one up yet i havnt had time. im thinking radio shack should carry them.
altimat- its easy to read, it does bounce around a couple points but nothing big. and at WOT it does go rich but its still pretty easy to read
when you take your foot off/on the gas then it goes nuts but besides that its pretty easy
i have a question for you though. when your just cruising around does ur A/F sit in the 14.0-15 region? even when im cruising around at 3-4K its always in that area. its freaking me out because i dont want to be running lean. at WOT it goes rich but at part throttles i dunno if its supposed to act like that.

The intent is to have only water vapor and carbondioxide as the combustion exhaust products.
Any A/F above 14.7 produces excessive oxides of nitrogen such as NO, NO2, N2O, N2O4, N2O3, N2O2, radicals and other nasty smog producers. Within a tolerance level, you should never see above 14.7 unless you have your foot off the gas.
Any A/F below 14.7 produces incomplete combustion of the hydrocarbons to form compounds such as CO, CH2O, CHx, H2, radicals, soot and other random organic junk. Going richer should only happen under loaded conditions.
Based on your description, it sounds like your Z is performing exactly as it should.

I didnt have issues with short wire length. It might depend on how you route the wire through the firewall. I routed mine on the driver side, up the tranny housing, and through the driver's side hole in the firewall.
Here are some pics of two Innovate gauges (one for each bank) mounted on the crappy ATI steering wheel gauge pod (that I wholeheartedly DO NOT recommend)
