the gauges look so sweet there, but i'd hate to give up the digital gauge. i can't get myself to look at the analog speedo anymore.

very nice... And of course, you managed to capture the coveted 14.7 on the display.

Looks good! DEFI BF AMBERs would be my only choice to put into the stock 3 gauge pod!

Very nice.

I'm about to mount my Innovate Wideband gauge in the same place as you did. I was thinking of mounting it there, but wasn't sure how it would look, and now I see your pics and see it looks good!

Btw, I like how you hid the wideband gauge behind those stickers on the windshield

Are you running your wide band sensor ALL the time? I've heard that they will wear out a lot faster than narrow bands if used constantly. Gauges look good though!

Most people run them all the time. The sensors are heated, which helps make them last longer on first start. Typical life of a wideband is between 10,000-30,000 miles, depending on how hard you drive your car, and how rich your AF mixtures get.

the 04 and 05 model cars (Nov03 production and beyond), already use wideband upstream sensors, so they should last a decent amount of time.

Looks good bro!!

I always wanted to see how they would look on the stock gauge pod, and now that I have, I will definitely be getting the Defi ambers.

But like hndu, I'm used to looking at the digital speedo so it's just something to get used to I guess...luckily I have my VDP that gives me that info on the DVD deck

Nope, they are the Innovate branded items. I believe they are identical to the VW item as well.

Apologies if this is a bit off this topic.

Sharif, how would you turn off the Innovate wideband? Is there an on/off once you turn on you car, or would you have to install an on/off switch?
