The first 350Z I saw at the New Orleans Auto Show had very bright polished looking 18" rims. The rims that made it to production are somewhat less atractive. Is there anyway to get our rims looking nearly as good as the pre-production ones?

 

if their the same shape, they can be chromed for about 700$. otherwise, buy new rims.

 

nissan is offering chrome rims as an option later this year or in early feb/march but i don't know what they look like. it may be the 18" spoke rims just like at the show

 

I believe the show wheels were polished not chromed. This could be done to yours but you better find a shop that knows what they are doing otherwise it might degrade the metal integrity. The paint would have to be stripped, then polished and finished with multiple coats of a heat resistant clear.

 

haha anotherwords, not worth it. basically, if you have to have to have the oem chrome wheels, either get yours chromed or wait for them to offer the accessory wheels or just get nice aftermarkets and sell yours
