Default Any mods increase gas mileage?

I've heard test pipes will get slightly better mileage than stock. Can anyone confirm this and are there any other mods that will help with mileage without losing any power?

i would think an ecu flash or other engine management would do this as well since it would be leaning out the car a little bit more from what i understand.

can anyone verify this?

exhaust, any large weight reduction mod, intake but this is all very small stuff. Better tires and wheels? i think not bc any aftermarket setup you get thats lighter will still be wider so the less weight of the rim versus the more tire/wider tire will offset most likely

My grounding kit gave me between 1 and 2 additional MPG. Not a huge difference, but over time it'll pay for itself.

you can use the autos 3.3 final drive, if you have a 6MT
you will have long gears so at higher speeds it will be lower rps,

however your accelleration will be less.

Twin turbos will give you better gas mileage. That price will pay for 5 years worth of gas.

Make sure you don't incur the 4-5% MPG penalty from using oxygenated fuels [it has lower BTU per gallon].
Install rotten egg [buy a dozen for replacements] under accelerator pedal.

Is it certain brands of fuel that are oxygenated, how do you tell?

You sure you're using all the gears?

Seriously, I would have a hard time getting mine down to 17. Maybe at the track.

Best mod you can do is adjust your driving. I know a ton of guys who hit the accelerator with a stop light a block away that's red, then brake hard. Come-on.

Also, don't be afraid to take it completely out of gear and just coast to a red light. Its not like you can go anywhere. Added benefit too . . if you approach a light slower, odds are it will change while you are still in motion. Then you can pop it into a gear and continue without the "startup gear" gas penalty.

i dunno bout tt's but intake n exhausts do take a little off. The exhaust im buying soon is supposed to give me about 3 more mpg. but mainly just adjust your driving, try shifting at around 3000 and don't use the throttle as much
