Any mods increase gas mileage?

Oh, and #4. Voltage stabilizer.

i use all gears... and im definitally not one who accelerates to a light and brakes hard to stop. i usually let my gearing slow me down, let off gas then down shift to slow rather than breaking hard at the end...
i have had the car for almost 2 months now and my driving has been somewhat crazy in the since that i drive it a whole lot. (6000 in 3 months)
Tank usually last me 300 miles before i refil up again. My driving habits are fine i think, i dont push the car to much over 5 grand when im driving regularly.
I've noticed that installing any mod, but especially mods that make the car louder, will instantly decrease my milage as I find myself driving on twisty back roads more and giving it a little more gas.
This is why the "Butt-Dyno" is useless for the claimed HP gains in the single digits for things like intake and exhaust. You just installed something you expect to give you more horsepower so you give it more gas so you get more performance, and Voilà! You have now convinced yourself you have more power to justify your expense.
But seriously, I get about 19mpg driving on the twisty back roads and about 23mpg on the highway (most I saw was 28mpg highway but I don't believe it).

Good gas milage getting is Very simple as it has been said before, normally i rev the snot out of all my gears which is the reason i bought the car, so my gas milage according to my in car reader says that i get 16.7 / 21.4. But when i drove up to providence two weeks ago no lie i stayed in 6th gear for the majority of the trip and got about 33mpg if i remember correctly, def over 30. Lesson here is, shift at 2500 rpm and utlize all the gears and youll save gas milage and drive around like a slug, but then ask yourself this one, why did you buy the Z when for the same price they make those honda and toyota hybrids?????

I'm curious about the 3.3 final drive - I find myself bouncing off the rev limiter when doing 0-60 runs in second gear and wondering how much slower the car will accelerate with the higher gear.
also having problems hooking up - I only had one "good" launch in about 30 tries. rest of them I either spun the tires or bogged down (stock size 245's in back). figured the 3.3 would help reduce tire spin since it'll take more to break the tires loose. of course some 295's would help too
the plus side would be better mileage. driving 500 miles or more a week, mpg is an issue. right now when I got to work my mileage was 27.9 mpg, 52 mph avg speed, and about 400 miles driven on the tank (have to get gas before I go home). this includes a number of redline 4th runs as well as the normal serveral runs to redline in 1st-2nd-3rd. cruising speed on highway is mostly 70-85 with 60-65 in the hot spots. If I can get that to 29-30 mpg and still have fun blasting to 60 or 110 or whatever I'd be all over the final drive mod.
lower final drive combined with headers, hiflo cats, exhaust, intake, wires, etc (any breathing or ignition mod that isn't forced induction) should allow you to use, in regular driving, a higher gear with no penalty (because you have more power without having to wind up the engine). this would translate to higher efficiency, higher mpg.
I have a Honda Civic also (don't laugh) and it turns at 2k rpm at 70 mph or some insanely low rpm like that. 42 mpg on the last tank (haven't driven it in a while - since April I think) and I was constantly revving the snot out of it. gearing would make a big difference in mpg. hybrid honda owners report 50-55 mpg in some cases where they have (relatively) big engines in light cars.
