Gimme some ideas for Mods!
Well, i have full access to a machining shop overseas (my uncle owns a few factories) and i'm itching to pump out some mods for the Z guys as i did for the Maxima community..
i was thinking of the following, do you have any interests?
1. Custom Camera mount (safe for install w/o scratching the plastic) for rear Tower brace
2. Bracket and Hat adapters to put inexpensive 4pot Wilwood calipers for base/enthu/perform/touring models that didnt have the option of brembos
3. Knee braces for the track
4. custom pedals
5. relocation of the MAF sensor & longer intake w/ venturi
6. anything else?

i got these really small cameras from Taiwan with color and sound (picture quality really sux) but it has RCA outputs that you can plug into , say a Hi-8 recorder and it WILL record for example like you said about front bumper cams..
if you want to get the higher-quality security cams, they're quite expensive, but for a pet project with some so-so quality videos, its mighty fun.
you CAN get suction cup mounted cameras for hi-8/digital camcorders that you can place on the hood and face you, but they are not SCCA nor meet most Auto-X safety requirements.
but hell. if you just want to make a commerical/video of you driving around town.. more power!
i got my camera mount from I/O port products in Nor Cal. they make high quality camera mounts. with urethane bushings to deduce vibrations, and also you can adjust in free space.

Your camera on the tower brace got me to thinking. Do you think it will be possible to use the removable tow hook to create a bumper-cam mount for autoX and such? That would be cool, the sound and perspective you get from bumper cams is sweet!
