Default Gas pedal

There is some kind of metal piece that is bloted to the back of my gas pedal. What is it for and whal would happen if I remove it?

proably so you dont push it too far and ruin the sensor. remember our pedal is electronic.

If you remove that metal piece, it makes your gas pedal go up to 11.

lol, "11" I cannot imagine how much more throttle you would have, would be @ least 300 rwhp added
