sounds fine to me, alot louder, as expected. but none the less its quite smooth and sounds great.

now remember, they want something different from the coupe, they want a more refined sound.

It's quite smooth below 4000 rpm, but even with the Earthing Kit, it's not Honda smooth . However, smoother than before with the earthing kit .

At high RPM, it's actually quite rough and buzzy. I had a serious vibration coming from the rear strut tower brace that kicked in above 5000 RPM. I had to put foam padding in there to stop it -- it really showed the buzziness of the engine. Not as smooth as I thought a V6 would be. But it does feel kind of exciting at those revs, and it's not too bad. I have heard some car magazines comment about the roughness of the engine at high revs. (Below 4k it's pretty smooth, but of course that's not where the power is.)

Wouldn't say it was rough or buzzy at all. I doubt it's vibrating as the engine mounts are very firm, at least according to Nissan. It doesn't strike me as loud; even when it approaches 6000, I can still hear my music, although at that point I'm not even aware it's on. Is it smooth? I guess so. Is it powerful? Absolutely.

Its not the engine mounts, becase I remember an engineer saying that they could've improved the sound of the engine slightly by loosening the engine mounts, but they didnt want to do that because it would oviously hamper performance slightly.

well, i will say that the coupe is very "buzzy" up past 5 grand. not really all that refined at all. i love the exhaust note, but the vibes through the shifter is getting on my nerves...
