Default Questions on internals

I have been browsing through SGP's new short- and longblock menu. Apparently they are offering two brands of rods/pistons: Eagle/Wiseco (cheaper) and Pauter/CP (pricer). What is the difference that accounts for the price and is it safe to go with the cheaper set if you hp goal is 500-550 to the wheels?
Thank you for your help.

Mostly the pricing is in the rods. $550 vs $1150. You should be fine with the Eagle/Wiseco for 500whp. If I were going into the 600-700 range then I would go with the Pauter package.
