The base model Z has 287hp but 274lb/ft of torque and the track ed. has 300hp & 260 lb/ft of torque. So does the increase in hp at the expense of peak torque really effect the 0-60 timings? Or do they kind of equal each other out?
You probably wont notice a difference from either cars 0-60, but the 300hp motor has more top end pull into 3rd gear and up on the highway. Remember base model has no LSD, so cutting a clean launch might be more difficult.
