Default Sponsorship

I have read alot of the threads here about mods. What I have not read or missed locating is how to get sponsored to help cut cost? What is expected of you if you are sponsored?

I have a 350z touring looking at imporving the interior mainly and some performance mods. If you have some advice or sponsors, wouild be great to read your response.

From my experience, it is about who you know/meet, how your car comes off presently, and what you can offer to the vendor.

drop a Skyline engine and tranny in your Z.. then go to shows and get noticed.. I bet you'll get some sponsors then..seriously though.. the Z has been out for a while.. you'd have to do something wild to get noticed.

In my case I know someone who has a Z specialty shop. We are very good friends. The shop is doing the new mods for my Z this month. They have done a lot of APS TT Z's & built boost engines but are putting together a N/A power package. My Z is the test/demo car for this for 6 months. They will require the car for a few days a month and I have to go to some meets on the weekends. The mods are mine to keep after that.
I realize how very fortunate I am and I think that's what you need to be, incredibly fortunate.

It is your approach and what you plan to do with your Z. If it is the same thing that everyone has done, then kiss your chances of a good sponsorship good bye
