I don't think you'll possibly be able to run ITBs with or without a reflash. This should definitely require a major piggy back (EU or UTEC) or a standalone (F-Con or better).

Well, you are right, I have someone who can bore my TB and port my IM/plenum....has anyone attempted to port anything?

on the subject of itb's: can anyone supply more info regarding the itb concept, such as how much more power, who's making/testing/running them....definately seems like you would have to modify your ecu or change it out completely to manage efficiently.

also, how much hp are we talking with just the tb and reflash?

no one I know runs ITB's -prohibtively expensive

you would need some very tricky ecu tuning to get it to work well...not for the meek

But without a hood scoop, they'd be sucking up a lot of hot engine air. Not sure if a hood scoop would look good on a Z... There are already 780,000 mustangs with them.
