So I did a base line Dyno on the Z before I start my big project. Got some weird results.
First thing I would like to say, the guy in the seat seemed like a moron. He let off the throttle before 5.5K rpm even afterI told him my shift lite comes on there. They are supposed to go to Rev limit right?
Second, had some weird torque results. They couldn't understand why, it was consistant on every run the same double peak. They tried to see if they were getting feedback but there wasn't.
So with out further adue...

not too sure on the torque thing, but yes they are supposed to take it to rev limiter or at least really close to redline to achieve best result. Your losing power for sure on the dyno graphs by shifting at 5.5k.
I'm no dyno expert, but the whole torque curve looks weird. The torque curve is a flat line from start up to 4,400 rpms where it goes wacky. I'd think they'd also want to take the rpms up to the redline also, but the results should be good (if they did everything else OK) up to the point that they let off the accelerator.
I'd take these results and talk to another dyno shop and see what they say.
Best of luck.

Bad run indeed.
I know there is not alot of differnt dynos in HI but I would suggest finding @ least a reputable dyno shop there and try again. This dyno lost tach signal up top hence the funky shape to the torque curve. Sounds like the operator had an error as well.
Good luck.
