back on the topic, a test of test pipes and some free flowing exhaust with the driver constantly hitting gas for 30+ sec will give some back fire. lol
OT--yah, it was an MK3 2.0L and I had TomasSportTuning over here in northern california--they build some of the most wicked VW's in california--do a 2.1L bore and ATP stage 2Plus turbo setup on it. Used to spit fire like no other haha!

Back on topic--yes, just remember it's not a 100% safe to daily if you run TOO rich and backfire. I have a friend that's taken out his S13 out on a local drift event and he was fortunate enough to have his backfire catch on the rear bumper and light the rear driverside quarter panel and bumper on fire haha! we stopped it quick with the extinguisher and it didn't do much harm really, but if that happened on public roads without available access to kill the flame, that would suck...but then again, WHO CARES! FLAMES ARE AWESOME!!! *puts on flame suit* haha
