OKay here it goes, I have just finished installing Insanemine's Ground wires and when I start the car it just drop down below idle and shuts off. I don't knwo what the problem, my engine mods so far are just the JWT. It doesn't stall when I drive though. What should I do, should I reset the ECU, is so how do I do it?

Any ideas??????????

http://www.technosquareinc.com/350reset.htm
or you can disconnect the battery overnight, then try it

double check your connections, make sure you didnt accidentally lodge something loose (especially the MAF sensor area). also make sure everything is buttoned up good, no obvious air leaks or wires not correctly installed. i recently modded my AEM into a JWT-like intake and had the usual problem of stalling at speed once you put the clutch in. reset the computer again and fixed a small leak, drove it last night for a quick bit and it seemed to work.

i double checked all the connection today and every seemed fine, nothing was loose. I actually installed my JWT before I installed the grond wires, and the JWT worked great.

I looked over the resetting procedures and i was wondering about when it says turn the ignition to opn, does that mean start the engine? or does that just mean turn it on without starting the engine and depress and release the pedal?

turn it on- not start (i'm 98% sure). basically the last notch before cranking it over. i know you said you checked the connections, but are you sure that the actual ground is okay? in other words that the connection is essentially metal to metal (clean/bare metal)? i myself do not have one of these kits so i'm not sure if it requires you to sand a small area of paint away to get a good, clean ground or not. if it's not too much of a pain in the a$$ to take the kit off, try that and start it to see if your problem still persists. hope this helps, good luck

You might've grounded to a non-ground? Does your AC and radio and all the electronics all work fine? Is your voltage the same before and after the install? Are there any differences in igniting...er starting? (lol).
Like said earlier, make sure your ground points are to bare metal to metal (Grind some paint off?)

It shouldn be the groundindg kit, I think it is the pop charger causing the problem...
I found a thread talking about this, it may help you solve the problem:

No I checked everything, the only thing that i did differtly was that I tightened tehe connection on the battery terminal the best I cold and everything seems to be working fine. On the initial starts there is no rumbling dip on the idle, and on subsequent starts, it doesn't it either. I even talked to Insaneamine, I gave a picture of all my points and he said they are all ok. Just make sure everybody tightens everything.

Hey if people don't know Insaneamine is currently going through a rough time with Hurricane Katrina, I would just like to take the time just to offer sympathy towards him because he is such an avid Z member and a blessing to the communiy for offering us great products and support.

oops I ment shouldn't be the grounding kit, it should be something related with the pop charger, like the MAF sensor a bolt loose or something like that.

I dont think it has anything to do with the battery, since you get power to start the car, and I asume your horn, lights, radio, etc... are working.
