I dont have the link any more . But it T's off the vacuum line on the throttle body and runs into the crank breather hose thats hooked to the intake pipe I believe . At one time , I thought of trying it . But thought it would end up being a boost leak . dont know

Is this mod capable of raising the idle rpm. My idle drops to almost stall and sometimes does stall. With the A/C on all is fine..Will this up the idle or is it intended for some other reason like "stabilize the idle" ??

i will tell you here in the next day or 2. mine has the same prob. will almost stall or will stall on motor decel. this looks like it may raise the idle a little also. this looks like it is just letting in more air, but unmetered air too though, so i'll see how it works.

I did this and it made my car run like crap, and it would die intermittantly for no reason.

I have the kit in my garage if anyone wants it

Did you find another solution for this issue?

well i called jwt today to see if that diagram was for a stock intake or not. they confirmed it was for a draw through turbo system or a stock intake where the pcv draws from after the maf and not before it like on most turbo or supercharger systems. so i may try it by drilling a port in the intake and install a one way valve and see if it helps. also am very tempted to just drill out the throttle adjustment screw and make it adjustable again. just need to get a little more air into the motor at idle is all really. even a small hole in the throttle blade would do it but would suck to make it too big and have to weld it back up.

well opted for drilling a 1/8 inch hole in the throttle blade. engine has not died once even at spots it for sure would have before. it didn't lean out at all during idle so no change there. idle is up a little bit but not much. will let it idle for awhile tomorrow and let the comp learn the change a little more. i figure the 1/8 inch hole is equal to about 1% throttle open. very interesting to drill out the rivets and look inside at how the throttle motor and idle adjustment is set up though, lol.

does the 16" hose actually have to be 16" long? that's way long. I think I only need like 2/3 that length or less

so to double check, the big connectors T into the PCV hose right?

ya, you could get away with alot shorter hose. i could not do it as jwt has pictured cause my maf is downstream of the pcv line, meaning it woulod be intaking unmetered air. all i did was drill a hole in the throttle plate (1/8") and it does exactly the same thing. my car has not stallled once since doing this either.
