Have any idea why such a huge difference between 4th and 5th gear at this dyno? Kinda threw me off....When we run the cars in 4th and 5th, the numbers are close enough to be sampling error. And becuase it can be unsafe to run cars to 150mph on certain dynos, we prefer to tune in 4th gear.
It's more of an operator preference. I just dont want people to think the 4th gear runs are not accurate, vs. a 5th gear pull.
Either way, since you guys are paying for the dyno, demand that they run it in the gear that YOU prefer...if not...take it somewhere else.
