Has anyone installed a bm short throw shift in their Z? I have a track model 04 almost brand new 2kmiles, wondering how it would feel... smoother, better throws, worth the money basically?

 

I had B&M and the chatter made me nuts. I now have Rogue Engineering (slight chatter on par with OEM) and I am very content. Both have a nice feel shifting.

 

Also check out the Mossy Performance Short Shifter. Its 4 way adjsutable while installed so you can set the throws to stock, 2 different shorter settings or even one longer setting. Same price as the Rogue and no rattles.

 

I dont know what every body else is talking about the chatter and vibration? I love my B&M Shifter very smooth and SOO SHORT...way shorter than the rogue and others.. shortest short shifter you can buy. You just have to install it right, follow directions. To do it right it takes about 2 hours.. you have t raise the car pretty high, i rasied it on a ramp.

 

im kinda getting about 50% stay stock 50% go with other shifters... i really havnt heard much to make the shifter upgrade sound right to do....
