Default When is the right time to get a reflash?

I have the popcharger and the Borla TD catback.
I will soon be installing megan racing headers and Labree high flow cats.

My question that I haven't seen on this forum is when is it a good time to get an ECU reflash? I still want to install a plenum still, but will the ECU reflash really be any different if I left out the plenum upgrade to TS?

How is the ECU reflashed anyways? I have seen people selling their reflashed ECU so it makes me wonder if each reflash ECU is really programmed to your specific mods that you list for them or do they have like 3 types of ECU and they send you one of them depending on how heavy your mods are. Basically, is there really someone who goes over yoru list and really tunes the ECu for you?

Anyone able to add to this thread?

The ECU can be reprogrammed on a stock 350Z with torque and horsepower gains. The more mods that you have, the more the potential benefit of a flash. The standard “one size fits all” flash may be appropriate for your car. More expensive “custom flash” with the Z on a dyno may squeeze additional torque and horsepower out of the Z.
