Default TCS and detonation

I know that TCS is a very bad thing when you are running n20 as it can cause detonation within your engine. Now if this is so, does this rule also apply to NA engines as well? Does TCS cause any type of detonation? I've been thinking that it might, but not a significant amount to damage the engine, but what about when TCS is being used excessively? I've been thinking about making a memory switch to disable it from startup, but thats only if detonation is an issue.

Yes with that much power... it is going to put alot of strain on the drivetrain and engine, get the vdc/tcs kill switch! Look up on the forums for it!

This topic has been discussed on here quite a bit.

I drive with my VDC on quite a bit, and have no worries that it will ever lead to damaging my motor.
