Default How to go over 300whp without FI?, how can it be done?

i was wondering if there is a different way to break the 300whp barrier without going FI...
is there a possible way?
if so
please type up a list of what is needed to be upgraded, so i can benefit from this info as well as others on this forum.

Thanx in advance

Ayman

All the breathing stuff and cams in my sig and the unichip w/tuning + our possible plans for a 4.0 liter stroker option will get you well over 300 rwhp. Probably about 100 whp more than stock or maybe even a little more. But it is still expensive. I think all the cash you blow on that stuff and you are better off going TT or even ST. But hell then again I think that has been a huge money pit for a lot of guys here when going FI. It never seems to end for lot's of those guys.

Of course. By a Unichip certified technician and dealer. He has the Dastek load dyno and knows how to use it.

The unichip with tuning was the most expensive thing after the cams install. Hmm maybe it was the most expensive thing when unichip and tuning are put together. Anyway about 6K for everything in sig except the exhaust and intake that I already had. The brake pads I had already too, but they don't matter.

What do you mean how is the app on it?

-Headers
-Test pipes/exhaust
-JWT popcharger
-Nismo S2 Camshaft w/ upgraded valvetrain
-Upgraded plenum
-UTEC

I'd say you should be over 300 with this combo IMO

IT is possible... If you look at my mods minus the turbokit... I was around 292 rwhp without cams... it can be done but does get costly.

I am getting a dyno next week when I get back my Original ECU. Theres a guy on here named Vandy tapping the 300whp mark.. On a dynopak you would prolly show up higher then 300whp with a full bolt-on built and tune

Oh yeah! Stroker kits are not worth what they are for in my opinion. I'd rather increse displacement by fattening the bore(Darton Sleeves) than aggravating physics laws and adding additional stroke at higher RPM.

i heard that theres a Z with HKS F-con V pro and a few minor bolt-ons pushing 300+. i dont know if this is really true, but people have been telling me that a full stand alone ecu can get us there N/A instead of a piggyback. any thoughts on this?

Intake, plenum, headers, test pipes, exhaust, lightweight flyhwheel, lightweight crank pully, cams, and tuning should get you there.

Just do all of the NA mods and then keep dynoing at different dynos until you get the 300 mark

btw what exactly IS 300whp? what gas? what elevation? what temp? what type of dyno?

I'm sure I can drive to one place and get 300 rwhp right now someplace somewhere

All the bolt-ons and tuning for 93 octane should get you pretty darn close.
