when running the 3.9 fd, is the upgrade to the Nismo LSD worth the $$$ over just sticking with the stock LSD?? Also on 350evo.com the price for the nismo lsd assembled with 3.9 gears is 2300.00...does that include the core charge or is the core charge added on top of that if u dont send them your stock LSD? TIA

 

the core charge will be added to that if you dont send it to them. Also If you can swing it, its a smart idea to just go ahead and do the nismo lsd with the 3.9 that way you just swapping out pumpkins and not doing major $$on install... when you do decide later to go with nismo lsd.

 

I love my nismo lsd, but admittedly it has a slightly rough engagement when launching. I love it! If this is not for you, you can look at the Cusco RS (contact Adam @ Z1 Auto) or the newly released Quaife (sp?).

Hey, i too want to get a 3.9 FD and is wondering if a nismo lsd is worth getting. So far every problem ive heard about the nismo lsd seems to only refer to guys with the 6mt. I was wondering as a 5at driver, how would a nismo lsd affect driving??

 

From a performance aspect how do u think the nismo compares to stock? Is it a vast improvement? If so im gonna go for it..if not i can think of other mods to spend a grand on.

The LSD, made a world of a difference. Acceleration is crazy and the LSD really shines around the turns. I would also suggest a set of sway bars.
