From: ATL-What U Know About That???
Don't know if this method has been posted before, but I did a search and didn't see anything so I'll post it anyway.
Through haste and anticipation I installed my test pipes on my '05 without doing the HELP! method, so naturally I got the "Service Engine Soon" light. Finally installed the non-foulers and tried to reset the ECU using that gawd forsakin' pedal method. No Go!!! I wasn't going to remove the battery cables and sit around 24hrs, so I simply removed the ECU fuse in the battery compartment and the ECU INJ fuse in the drivers kick panel for 10mins. I confirmed that I pulled the right fuses by switching the car on and no SES lite. Installed the fuses after 10 and got rid of the SES lite. Thus far everything's been running smoothly for a week or so..
Just FYI if anyone cares..
