I was thinking intake, plenum, cams, pulleys, headers, test pipes, full exhaust, injectors, ECU Flash/EMS, etc...

So you think with all those mods above I would only be at 260ish whp SAE corrected? I would think they would give me more than that.

With multiple mods there's a factor of diminishing returns. An intake rated for 6whp, headers rated for 10, exhaust rated for 6 does not = 22whp, it's always a little less

you will not actually reach 300whp

full out NA you won't reach it until you get serious and dump some big money into doing the engine different

you'll get close though, 285-290whp is usually possible with all normal bolt ons and cams

peak hp doesn't do **** for driveability, because you're maybe at that point for a millisecond.

What you need to do is look for mods that increase the meat under the curve, the USEABLE power. Saying you have 300hp peak doesn't mean shat if a 280whp car can beat you off the line to 100mph because of a much better powerband.

My power curve on the baseline run was nice... I still need to get the dyno sheet scaned. But I understand what you are saying.

as much as I'd kill for a 300whp car, I'd much rather just increase the useable grunt between 2500-6000rpm.

I think u'd be damn close w/ UTEC..around 285-295. rwhp that is. Go for it, it would cost you as much as FI but it would be less streetable and probably nicer sounding :-D
