Went to the Dyno...
#22
ran my Z on the dyno a week ago as well.
i also ran my Z on the dyno at Velocity Performance in Dallas, TX.... with all the mods in my sig, 3 runs with my highest number being 238whp and 222tq...when it came out like this it looked like a minimal gain.....but then again i only have an intake and exhaust, and u can call my Z a 240whp car....so i am happy,,,now for my next mod would be headers, or a spacer, anyone know if i could reach 250 with one of these?

Sticking N/A, get a lightened crank pulley, lightened flywheel/clutch, 3.9 final drive, and exhaust (for the sound)
You'll throw money hand over fist at your car staying N/A with relatively small gains to be had.

I was curious as to what a stock Z will dyno at our elevation. I recommend you talk to Juztin on this board, he's in Denver and he has cams, exhaust, Crawford plenum, etc... and he had his dyno'd. It might give you some idea of what to expect.

I'm waiting to scan the print out and getting the vid from my buddy. Went to say thanks to Mac Autosport in Parker, Co. Awesome people and shop.

haha. here we go again. yes if you want you can hit 300whp n/a just have the dyno operator adjust the settings to make it "say" thats your whp. like z1 just said, the numbers are only relative to that dyno. a dyno is not an accurate measurement of hp, what it is however is a tool used for tuning and adjusting for changes made on your car.
if you really want a good measurement of how "fast" your car is with those mods take it to a track or do some timed 0-60, 0-100, runs and compare them to other "300whp" cars.
