Do you also need a different size speedometer pinion when you regear?

No need for any speedometer changes or recalibration It's really not only a mod for NA guys though - granted, the 450 + whp guys might have a handful with it, but those with under that power level would also benefit tremendously from this.

I should have been a little more specific. I really ment turbo guys with more then 370wt

I ran it with a stillen supercharger and loved it. By the end of second gear I had traction and it would pull like a MFer. But I only had 350whp with every bolt on.

What gear should you dyno in with this mod? Is 4th gear still a 1:1 ratio?

it only changes the final drive ratio; has nothing to do with the ratio of each individual gear

Does anyone know if there are plans to offer taller gears for us FI guys? I'd want like a 2.9 or something.

we might work on that for 06...certainly wont be as low as 2.9 though, more like 3.3.

Hey Adam,

Is this gearset a 3.9? It says so in the ad, but is it specifically a 3.91, 3.917, etc?

JK man. I can't believe some of the same questions that popped up on here when search can answer their questions. Come to think of it, some of the same questions are coming from the same people!

Hmm need taller gearing than 3.3 for FI guys, any chance to go like 3.1 or 3.0? This'd create better traction especially in lower gears where most of the traction issues show up on our cars.
