Thumbs up Kazz 2 way vs ATS carbon lsd

It's about time i get a 2 way lsd, vlsd just doesnt cut it any more. I did my research and know almost everything there is to know about both of them. Just to clear some things up, is it true that the ats carbon is due for an oil change every 30k miles? If so then that is deff a +. My friends have been telling me that for performance the kazz is much more effective. If thats true then the clunking noise that the kazz makes will not be an issue for me. At first i was convinced that the ats is just what i wanted but after many debates with some gearheads im not so sure. Any input on these lsds or others will be helpfull. Thanks

Oil change interval varies depending on who you ask. In my oppinion you should change the fluid every 3k miles are after every few track/autocross/drift days. With the KAAZ use ONLY the KAAZ Oil. With ATS use ONLY the ATS oil.

The KAAZ unit will clamp faster and more aggressively, as well as hold stronger (12-14kg) vs. the ATS which is rated at 10kg. The engagement is the most important thing to consider, if you like feeling it work then the KAAZ will feel better. If you like stock feel with better grip then ATS.

I run the KAAZ in 3 cars and love it.

Overall we vastly prefer the ATS or the Cusco RS to the Kaaz. As nice as the Kaaz is, it's engagment is very harsh, making it the least street friendly of the crop of aftermarket LSD's (along with NISMO). Very good unit, and very robust, but it can be noisy and not very cooperative at low speeds. All depends on your driving style and main useage
