Time for changes!
After 2 yrs/33000kms of driving a next to stock Z and 3 days of clicking on the "-search-" botton, I now have a general idea of the mods I am gonna put on my Z as well as some questions and your commends are more than welcome:
Ballpark: I will hook myself up with some NA mods first and drive the car for one more year, attend a professional driving shool(i have a 5 year old DL) and get attached to the car. After I am confident enough to handle the road and it's also about the time my warrenty runs out, I will upgrade to FI all the way up to 500hp and JWT TT is what I have in mind right now.
MODS I will get shortly:
Axis Hiros with Nitto 555's-----------$2000 eBay
8.5 front 245/35/19
9.5 rear 275/35/19
Transmission:
JWT Clutch/flywheel-----$ 725 Avalon
Central 20 3.9 final drive--------$499 Z-1 Performance
Engine:
KJR Pulley--------$170 KJR
Motordyne 5/16" Plenum Spacer----------$240 Performance Nissan
Misc:
JWT Pop Charger w/ Heat Shield----------$105 Avalon
A total of $3739 before labour.
Questions:
Would replacing the final drive void warrenty on the tranny? im currently running on my 2nd one and they seem to be very expensive on the invoice.
About the shims for the final drive, in general, would the shop has them on hand in case they need one?The reason I'm asking is I am from Vancouver, Canada and I will be driving my car to somewhere in WA (probably Bellingham) and have all the installation done in one day. As far as I know, there isn't any Nissan dealer in that area that can handle the job and I am still doing rearch to find a decent and reliable place. (If you know a good shop, PLEASE let me know).
Do I need a ECU reflash after the mods?
Exhuast, testpipe and etc. are just too loud to me at the current phase(one more reason is I got a ZR and I do drive some long trips).
If you know some better place to get the gears, plz let me know as well! Cheers all!

If you plan any FI down the road, the 3.9 final drive is a poor choice.
If you think exhaust and test pipes are too loud, you have been looking at the wrong exhausts. I had the greddy EVO2 and test pipes and the exhaust sounded great, no drone, and very quiet in the cabin at cruising speeds. The APS or HKS will also be great exhausts to run with test pipes.
The dealer can find just about anything to deny warranty work. Every dealer is different, but it definitely could give you issue if you need warranty work on your tranny. They might look at the JWT clutch setup and deny warranty based on that and not even look at the 3.9. Like I said, every dealer is different.
I would never assume a shop would have specialty items like the shims needed for your 3.9. You best find them and bring them with you.
You will not need an ECU flash. The car will be fine without one - don't waste your money on it.

like stated before everything is good, but don't bother with the 3.9 you will not want it when you get the JWT TT. I would go with an exhaust though. Maybe something like the Nismo which is not much louder than stock.
