340hp NISMO R-Tune
NISSAN new model ' fair ready Z ' in the one for circuit travelling the チュ?[ン doing " is R-tune " of the ニスモ. Still while developing it is announcement as a prototype, but you say finally engine output is carried to 340 horsepower. In regard to the industry self-restriction of 280 horsepower, is not the complete car and being to become treatment as a tuning to the last you say there is no relationship.

Nice!!

Found this on another site, sounds really good.
I always knew a suitable ECU change would unleash the VQ! Can't wait.......

The freshalloy people were guessing that it was a whole engine swap.
The specs listed were 340 ps (is that the same as HP?) @ 7600 RPM and 268 lbft of torque (a bit lower than stock), so I would guess that would be NA. A turbo or SC engine would be able to reach 340 without raising the redline. This means they must have done some significant changes to the internals. At a minimum it would need new cams (since the current ones loose lots of torque above 5000 RPM) , and maybe lighter, stronger pistons. I don't know about the crankshaft. At least we have the ability to reprogram the shift indicator all the way up to 8000 RPM. Makes me wonder how long they've been working on this engine.
I really hope we can see some of those improvements without getting an entirely new engine, although depending on price it may be a very good investment...hehe...

Nissan is not producing a $75,000 race car. The car that everyone is talking about is $125,000-$200,000 range to compete againg porsche. No way 443 hp and body modifications would only cost the price of another car. Plus is has air jack built in No Way. Got info strait from Nissan rep.
thanks,

I could deal with 340HP.
