The plastic has give but it breaks around the bolts and comes loose... I dont mind having a scratched/dented tray as long as it stays put. With that said I wouldn't pay $400 for one.

it only gets scratched badly if you hit something...I have not hit anything in 2+ years yet and I certainly don't intend to start now. As for it looking bad, I suppose if I drove it off road it would, but its a very sturdy piece of stainless steel and not flimsy at all. Your exhaust does not get "ugly" looking...dirty yes, but only gets damaged if you hit something

Not to mention I dont really even drive my car anymore....it certainly wont be seeing much if any driving time before April of this year, and I'll be lucky if I put another 7k miles on it this year

As for where it sits, remember, it bolts to the bottom of the car, so the only difference in clearance is the thickness of the undertray itself

Yes I agree it is expensive, but if it works as it says, I'll be pleased. Not to mention that at this point, I have nothing left to get for my car, so this might be the last mod to get paid for

You won't stop Kwame...I will though. Once the heads are on, that's it for me. This is not the only modded car I own as some of you know, and right now there are other priorities, not to mention other projects taking precedence.

anotherazguy - lolololol - AP Racing on mine...so I have the big brakes covered as well Endless would have been nice, and was my first choice, but it was "not in the cards" as they say.

I am sure it could be made for less. That is the nature of the aftermarket, particularly today's aftermarket, where people wait for an inovative company to create an idea, then the vulchers come along and knock it off. I am not saying it's rocket science to come up with such a part, just saying that by the time the materials, finishing, packaging, freight costs from Japan, and freight costs to the dealers are figured in, the pricing is not all that out of line. Certainly anotheraznguy, of all people, can understand that

so very true. your car is definitely looking great adam. I will have to stop by one day wheni am in ny to stop by the shop. Did you notice anything in terms of engine bay heat of a before and after? also. because this replaces the plastic undertreay does that mean that all of it is gone.. ie from bumper all the way back to near tranny?

Honestly, its so damn cold here I would not notice any changes in engine temp this time of year...I can do some testing in the summer though.

Yes it removes the whole plastic undertray - this one actually is a bit bigger than the OE one
