Hi guys,
I'm changing my clutch from a exedy aftermarket one to a OEM one.
Do I need to change the pressure plate?
The shop that will be installing it say that I need to replace the
pressure plate. Is this correct? will I have problems if I dont?
thanks

I've always been told it's a good idea to keep your clutch disc matched with your pressure plate. If you have a very strong Exedy pressure plate on there and want to go back to an OEM clutch disc, I'd imagine it would be a good idea to use the OEM pressure plate, as well. This is only conjecture on my part, but it seems like a good idea from my understanding of things.
