do you think guys,it possible to get R34 transmission on 350z with vq35de-tt engine??
if that will work we can fix all of our traction problems..
i saw that 350z with R34 transmission (i'm not sure if it has a R34 engine also) from top-secret

i have seen several "attempted" FWD-->AWD coversions on a 2g eclipse. not one has succeeded. most just say F it when they realize the cost involved.

but don't you think it's worth it

-driveshaft(s) there are more than one. usually its a four piece driveshaft in awd trannies
-tranny mounts
-cv shafts (might be able to use R34 ones, but dont know)
-adaptor plate for the flywheel to the tranny
on top of that u need a tranny out of an R34. not sure of the cost but id expect at least 1k with freight and all that.
then you need to install it all. this will involve cutting, welding, and generally be a pain in the butt.
it will cost several thousands of dollars to do this.
you can also increase traction by suspension mods, bigger tires, better tires, and gearing. look at your other options first before you turn your car into a huge money pit.

i know that but am checking all of these TT Z's with no traction?? there losing races against those crappie cars . cause of traction.
i'm now installing my own PE-TT with other modes. hope that wouldn't have a huge traction problem.
thanks for these valuable info

I have ZERO traction issues and I'm near 500whp....you don't need AWD...you just need a good tire and suspension setup.

your pickings will be slim in 19" but there are a few options. are you running a 9" or 10" wide rim? put the biggest piece of rubber you can on the back (may have to roll fenders) and youll be ok.

I would recommend the Mickey Thompson Drag radials. If you get these, with your supsension and you still have traction problems than you just need to drive. I myself run these and several friends in the 500+ hp range and have no issues with traction.

is it daily use or just for the drag-race?
