146hp, 18.6sec, and no it blows
haha
Ive seen in the 240 area, 245 once I think, and 250+ but that was on a different type of dyno that rates higher.
quarter mile, I know there was a 13.8, but I think there was a 13.7, and one thing to note is that these times all came from fall, not many Zs were around at that point. and since then its been winter, so not many Zs have been at the track. Im going this weekend tho, hope to get into the 13s.
as for liking it? uhhh yeah... my roomate and me went to dinner tonight, when we got home he randomly said "ya know, I really like driving in this car" put a smile on my face(even more of a smile than driving the car does.)
haha

which track are you going to.........reynolds or commerce? i went to commerce in the spring and reynolds in the fall and must say that commerce is garbage. no traction whatsoever. times where better by over .5 second at reynolds. unfortunately, it is hella far from atlanta. hopefully i will get to houston in a few weeks to get some baseline numbers on the coupe........

Being that is his first post, perhaps he needs to know that your (correct) figures are rwhp, not the factory 287hp rated at the crank. Regards, Jim

RWH?
But with my BASE( no limited slip Z) with only 1700 miles, I did a 13.903 @101.16 with a 2.213 60'. I suspect that my car now with 10,000 miles should be a little quicker. However, my track here in NJ doesn't open back up untill March, so I'll let you know how it goes.......
As far as How I like it???? The car is awesome!!!!!!!! I get more attention in it than my friend in his red Viper and my other friend in his Yellow NSX....... Not bad for $27K

btw........there is no real advantage in doing burnouts on street tires. the compound isnt sticky enough for the extra heat to have as much of an effect.

I will wait till spring
Then talk some smack down numbers and post time slips.
I'm looking to be in the 12's.
I read this Import Tuner where these 3.0 liter cars are breaking 89 seconds now and I am just amazxed. Someone just pulled a 8.56 in a V6.

Commerce sucks @ss. I ran a 16.0 once at Commerce with my ITR cause I just spun through 1st and 2nd ( I later found out another my clutch was breaking down on me, not the plate but the springs and etc.). I only have 119 ft/lbs of torque at the wheels! The best time I could pull out of there was a 15.2 @ 91.xx, which is horrible since most of the stock ITR's are pulling around 14.7 @ 95.xxI cant blame it all on Commerce tho; I admit I'm no John Force.

in stock form, they are faster... and modding, that depends, modding a 300ZX TT was easy, its already boosted, but if you spend the dough and boost a Z, I swear you can hit 800hp with enough cash, of course we're talking internal mods, probably a new steel block, tons of tuning, and a heafty 100shot of nitrous or more.
but oh yeah, the Z honestly has a platform with ENDLESS possibilities.
