Default Should I disconnect my battery?

Just installed a popcharger

- No CEL Lights
- Disconnected once after install. (3-5mins discon)

I hear some people disconnect it overnight (or hours). Are there any benefits doing this?

Disconnecting does not reset the ecu on the Z as far as I know.

It does if you leave it off overnight. That's the alternative to doing the difficult manual reset procedure.

Is there anything I need to be warned about if I'm reseting the ECU? Aside from reseting the gauges and radio?
