Got my car back and all i can say is "OMFG". this thing just pulls and pulls. its all over the band like nothing else. i had to keep looking down at the tach to make sure i kept it under 7500rpms. the thing just makes so much more torque down low than it use to. With everything done the car made 312rwhp at about 7300 rpms. i'll post the dyno as soon as i can! thanks to scott performance for turning my daily driver into a daily monster! time to go hunt some STI's!

voila.

congrats by the way. No matter how much you doubt, it's not going to blow. Ted really knows his stuff. He got me over the 500rwhp mark with just the APS TT, full exhaust, and on 96 octane.

Dude your dyno sheet clearly says BHP as in Brake Horse Power. There is a clear difference between 312rwhp and 312bhp. Is it me or is something not right here?

BRAKE HORSEPOWER (bhp)

Definition: The measure of an engine's horsepower without the loss in power caused by the gearbox, generator, differential, water pump and other auxiliaries. The actual horsepower delivered to the driving wheels is less.

Quite an unusual hp chart to say the least. Was the place called Hapi's dyno, by any chance, where every customer leaves with a smile. I've got to find a different dyno.

When using BHP there must be a huge correction factor to compensate for power lose? Right?

That's at 7500rpm if you look at 6500rpm it gets up to 274whp.

The curve chart shows in BHP. The Dastek Dyno's pc calculates WHP (accurately) and that is the #'s you see listed above the chart.

edit: But i agree i am always a little confused when I read his charts. Whatever, believe me, you know he's on to something here just by your butt dyno.

Mark, i hope you don't mind but I found your mod's list and here it is...

Kinetix Version 4 Plenum, Injen Cold Air Intake, APS High Output Exhaust System, Unorthodox racing pulley, Helix test pipes,Unichip piggyback ecu+tuning (Done At Scott performance), SP Custom grind cams with titanium valvesprings and shims, Technosquare reflash to 7500rpms, Borla Headers, JWT clutch, Enkei PK6 18x8.0 front and 18x9.5 rear wrapped in 245-45-18 falken azenis, ARC Titanium Air Guide, Nismo Oil Cap, Nismo Radiator Cap (+10hp), Dastek Tuned-312RWHP@7300rpms

Dyno numbers are such a *****, you can never trust just one, especially online claims. I think before you put up your dyno numbers, you should visit at least two dynos and if they match up, then put your numbers up, lol.

BTW, I bet your car pulls like a *****!

run 1 was just tuning. he wasn't going full throttle. those are just the numbers where he was tuning at that rpm.
