Default Why am I hearing a sloshing liquidy sound??

I can hear it most often when the car is cold. It seems to be coming from somewhere around the footwell or right behind the firewall just below the left side of the steering column. I have NO idea.

maybe the AC? there's a hose that drains the water accumlation from your AC unit...the drain hose can get clogged and keep the water in the HVAC piping - if you lift up your car, there'll be a small hose that you can spray compressed air into to unclog it.

my sloshing sound is the gasoline in the tank sloshing around...
did you de-spare your car?
if so there will be sloshing...

Well, it's coming from up front so it's not the gas tank. The AC line sounds plausible. Any pics of the hose you're talking about?

Sound like water running through a sewer pipe? Is it at crank up and when you rev it stops?

Heater hose? I hear it sometimes. The heater hose goes through the firewall.

Did you just put on a plenum or do something with the cooling system?

Well, I have the exact same issue as you, but I couldn't quite figure where it was coming from. I usually can hear my gas slosh around but this was before I left my driveway...

Yup, that's what it is. If you have air in the system it sounds like it's water running through a pip right in front of you. You have to bleed it out. You may also notice that when you come to a stop the heater is less efficiant.

Ok so that's what it is. Is there any potential damage that could occur if I dont bleed the line?

I'm not sure about the Z, but I've heard of some cars that if you don['t properly flush/refill the cooling system, a air pocket can develope that can cause localized heating...if this occurs within the engine block, it could cause warping and bad things can happen!!

I don't think so, but, anything is possible. Mine has been doing it for 4-5 months. I'm too lazy to bleed it.
