Default Update on Greddy 350Z Project Car

Here is the latest info we have received from Greddy. I have a ton of nice pictures too, but they all need to be resized. I will post them later tonight.

"Nissan 350Z Project

Exhaust – 2 available exhaust system. Full dual EVO exhaust systems uses 60mm piping from the catalytic converter. H pipe is present in this system to even out the exhaust gases. The other option will be a single pipe cat-back similar to stock configuration, where the muffler section is situated sideways (dual tip).

Turbo – Twin TD-05 18G turbo with type-S wastgates.

Intercooler – Type 23 3-row intercooler, similar to the one for the Supra. In addition, all piping are made of aluminum.

Fuel Management – E-Mange tuned, use along side with our new boost controller Profec E-01.

Brakes – We have implemented our own Alcon GREX brake system, comparable to some of the best brake systems out in the market. (Front only)

Body Kit – In Japan, Trust is making a facial kit which includes a completely new front bumper, side skirts, as well as a rear lip.

Suspension – Tein coilovers, most likely Type HA’s. These will be available soon.

Wheels – Volks/Rays GT-C’s (F 19x8.5, R 19x9.5)

Performance - The current setting is putting out 350hp at the wheels. All internals are stock. Hopefully, we will be able to get more without jeopardizing stability of the system.

(Note: Information pertaining to the 350Z project are tentative. There is currently no time estimate nor price estimate for any of the products that might be available in the future. Please contact your sales representative for more information.)"

Enjoy!!

Sweet. I wonder what ET a 350z with 350 at the wheels is running. I can't wait to find out how many people we will have to kill in order to pay for that TT.

Thumbs up

That sounds like a very promising kit. I wonder how much boost was required to reach these #s? I'm guessing between 7 and 8 psi? Either way, that's about 115 HP+ more at the wheels than most stock Z's come with! Can't wait! I better start saving up... Thanks for sharing Monkey Man.

I wonder if those dyno #s are with that Greddy 60mm catback. If so I'd think that is robbing a lot of power.

That's around 400hp at the crank! OMG! This should be a 12sec car, no doubt!

Now if the kit's around $5000, it will be a HOT item!

the post says dual exhaust utilizing 60mm piping, not just one.

Jeremy- a quick fyi-

The small rear section pic of the exhaust pulls up a different image when enlarged.

Thanks for the proofreading, I just fixed it.

I know that there are a ton of products that people are interested in, and most of them are still yet to go on sale. I would like to offer all these products to you guys first, so I am going to start compiling product interest lists.

If you are interested in any products that you know will be coming out later this year, shoot me a quick email and let me know. I will start a list for each product, then when we get more info, I will alert you guys. I will also offer the products to the people on the lists before we put them for sale on our website.

Thanks, Jeremy...I'm sure i'm speaking for others when I say that it's appreciated.

Check out the size of these cannons! (the meat on the rear tires makes 'em look like 335's.)

60mm is still too small for turbo, 3 inch piping is ideal.

heres my unofficial answer to that.

the engines are similiar, but not EXACT in the bay dimensions. so I think the kits would have to be custom tailered for each. not the hardest thing, but there may be some time between the 2 kits. I cant see why they wouldnt eventually have a turbo for both, it shouldnt require that much extra effort.

I know this thread had kind of died down, but I emailed Greddy asking is their 345hp estimation was rwhp or bhp, they said it was bhp. They also said their car dynoed 260bhp stock, so keep in mind 345 would probably raise up to 365bhp or so after a few thousand miles. I was hoping for much more than 345 RWHP!

Also, I'm assuming their output is somewhat limited by 91 octane gas, so with 98+ octane their results will probably be greater. but still,.. not all that impressive early on.
