Royal Purple is in everything on my car and SUV. Once I tried it for the first time I have never looked back.

I have been using Mob 1 5w30 with no problems. Some people experience burn off using Mob 1. The best filters to use are nissan OEM. Dont forget to pick up some drain plug washers!

Yes I have the royal purple in my diff also.

I had the problem that DJK talked about with the burn off while using Mobil 1. That is the main reason I switched. Zero burn off to date. I use the K&N Filter.

What is the filter code for the 350Z K&N?? The local Advance Auto Parts has then but no application guide.

What vendors carry Royal Purple????? Autozone?

HP1008 is the filter, you can order them from here.

PepBoys stocks Royal Purple or you can use the locator on the royal Purple website if there are no PepBoys close to you.

thats because rpmoil.com is not royal purple, just an independant dealer

dealer locator: http://www.royalpurple.com/dealers/dealers.html

awesome stuff....we use the race stuff in my 280ZX Turbo as recommended by the engine builder

COOL! Just found out O'Reilly Auto Parts keeps Royal Purple in stock at all locations! We have 2 here!

I guess I'll put some pants on and get some stuff to change my oil today!

I guess I will need to figure out the best way to jack up the Z in the garage....
My 3 ton jack was good for the Xterra but won't fit under the Z!

THANKS 97SUPRATT for starting the thread and Z1 for pointing me in the right direction!

Royal Purple 10W30 w/ K&N filter, Pennzoil Synchromesh in the tranny, & Royal Purple in the rear diff. You won't be able to feel any difference but its knowing you have a better oil in there that gives you warm fuzzies. LOL

Do you see a huge increase in oil pressure with royal purple like others do with the Mobil 1 full synth?

Honestly can't say i paid much attention before and after. I do let the engine warm up a bit before just taking off in the morning. I've been useing RP in my '02 VTEC Civic, '03 Evo 8 and now the Z. ITs just one of those products I beleive in. Others I've heard good things about are the Amsoil & Redline products. Think its just a personal chooice but all three; Amsoil, Redline, & Redline, are great.

shipping on oil is $$$

If I'm not mistaken, its classified as class 3 hazmat and weighs a lot per sq. in.

LoL...

I remember a few years ago I saw a dyno of a brand new C5 corvette with royal purple fluids, and it gained 9whp and a certain amount of torque on the dyno. After that, I did some research and found royal purple is used in many race engines and it works well in protecting the internals and cylinder linings.
