I'm not aware of a single person trying the obx rip off of a quaife helical.

If your not in the know the quaife is a helical Automatic Torque Biasing differential. It's the only one on the market other than the obx garbage.

A company called wavetrac has a modified torsen that has a spring loaded wave coupler that
Looks to be a bit better with the torque biasing ratio than the quaife. I spoke with them a year ago and they said Nissan motorsports is the sole distributor for that part and it was over $2000.

I went with a quaife and couldn't be happier.

but the short version is that if you want a helical lsd you need a Quaife. They are expensive and awesome. There are several other lsd discussed in the above thread, and all of them are way better then VLSD.
