Performance Clutch Recommendations?
I have a 2005 Grand Touring Roadster and my clutch just "seated" at 10K miles and is no longer tight. The dealer told me this is normal and they see this with a lot of Z's. The damn thing is like a sponge compared to the way it was prior to this "event" (burnout).
What performance clutch is recommended for hard driving and long wearing?

JWT or NISMO clutch...
If you are going in there and swapping.. may as well do your flywheel too...
JWT Flywheel / JWT clutch is the most cost effective combo... better performing one tooo
PM if you are near Duarte, I can help out getting this done for you...

I have the RPS Max Street Clutch and Flywheel, it is great. The Z specific shop I go to carries a bunch of other brands, and in their experience, this is the best clutch for the money.
I can still drive it on the street, the shifting is smoother, no "cement mixing" problems, and when you launch it really wants to grab!
Now, you should get rid of those 20" wheels and put 17" lightweight wheels and this would make a huge difference too on your performance!

I have the same setup as mood...I have the 6 puck clutch and flywheel...I chose RPS not because of cost but the quality of their product. Also they answered all questions and even offered a trial because they felt so strongly of their products to perform as they advertise

Another vote for the JWT Clutch and Flywheel combo. I've had it for exactly 1 year and 7 days now (put it in at the same time of the TT install). I've driven the car hard a lot of times, and it feels just like it felt back when I first installed it 1 year and 7 days ago . Its very streetable, and it grabs quiet nicely.
Edit: Oh, and I haven't seen anyone beat this price on the JWT Combo: http://hpautoworks.chainreactionweb....d7a0ce29125dc0

BTW - my shop doesn't carry JWT, so I can't say that would be a bad choice. Just they have about 3 other big brands that cost a lot more than RPS and they see longer life and better performance out of the RPS.
