I have an 03 Track Edition with 55k miles. When I shift from 1st to 2nd gear it feels as if there is a very slight "clack" kind of sound almost as if 2nd gear has a little slop in it or isn't synching up just right. Is it normal for this or do I need to get this checked out?

If you think something is up, best thing anyone call tell you is to go get it checked out, power train warranty is 60k I think so no worries

 

Every now and then my 2nd feels like it almost doesn't want to go in, but it always does and i have no problems down shifting. I dont have a clack sound though. 03 6mt too, original tranny, hoping i don't have to change it out, it's been shifting really smooth otherwise.
