Has anybody used an "Ultra Filter Oil Filter". They are a lifetime reusable oil filter with a k&n type filter element that is washable. They are suppose to filter oil all the time, not just at idle. Anybody know anything about these?

I havent heard of this either! I am running the K&N HP-1008 filter. It costs around $12 +/-.

 

Research filter particulate size and efficiency, and you'll have your answer. It's nowhere near as good as Mobil1, or the K&N or the OEM even.

 

I ran the Mobil-1 M1-105 until I was no longer able to get it in my area. Then I swapped to the K&N. Actually, I ran the K&N HP-1006 until I couldnt get it either! Gotta love these places that carry a filter once and then never again!!
