So far i think i'm about the same in mpg, i've been flooring it more since it feels smoother. The engine sounds different too, like it is combusting better, hard to explain, but it just sounds better. I'll know more at the end of the week as far as mpg goes.

Well sorry if it sounds stupid, but that's how it feels. It feels more like i just got a good tuneup with the higher spark output i guess, so it revs smoothly all the way to redline. I don't know how to explain it, it just feels and sounds a little different then before in a positive way.

Hey my bad, that sounded completely wrong on my part. I meant that "I" sounded stupid asking. Thanks for the help.

Do you have any other mods? It's probably just your ecu relearning. I experienced the drop when I put the Popcharger on, but the ecu fixed it after a few drives.

Did you have to remove the strut tower bar and intake tube to install?

No problem Zincognito . It's definitely easier if the intake tube is off, just more room to unclip those harnesses. Plus i wanted to route the wires under the plastic engine cover, so I took off the strut bar too.

I think you'll like it, it's worth it just having that pulsing blue LED .

If you are expecting gas savings, i wouldn't buy one of these units. I think it would be hard to find someone that just added this hyperforce to a stock car but that would be a good gauge to see if it really helps or not. For my car, i thought it felt smoother. Do i get better gas mileage? I'd say no, but i don't drive it for gas mileage so i'd be the wrong person to ask. If anyone else wants to chime in....

Here's some pics of mine I took installed and out of the box. There is a main power lead that you connect to the battery and then the rest of the wire loom contains jumpers that connect between inline with each individual coil. Small fingers and/or patience helps with the install.

Going to Nissan to check if the Zs and Maxima are the same.

Would be a nice upgrade

Hate to bring this thread back, but i've been reading up on this thing, and i want to know if it is even worth anything major in the long run. Cause what i think is if it was worth it then why didn't the manufacturers already incorporate it from the beginning?

I think i put all 3 from one side together and grounded them to the nearest ground screw, which there are tons to choose from around the engine. As long as it's grounded i'm sure it's fine.
