I'm wanting to add a oil cooler . But the price of a kit seems to be much more than you can do it by piecing together your own .
The sandwich needed...where can one get one ? And are they universal ? Or does it need to made for our motor ?
I can use the same cooler that I used for the tranny [ B&M = $70 ] and run it up and back with the fluid line provided with it .

But --yes the trans cooler would work --but Id Convert slip on fittings via brazing or whatever to male thread fittings that would except aeroquip stainless steel braided teflon inner tube hose of appropiate DIA.---I used to run the Trans coolers on my harleys for oil at 80 PSI +
