Default Power steering cooler

I have been looking at getting a better power steering cooler and have been looking at the Perma-cool units. WHat are some other good ones?

Why do you need an upgraded power steering cooler? Even when it was hot on my last track event and the power steering oil was boiling over, I still didn't have any problems with turning. Hell, you really don't need power steering until you are driving at really low speeds.
I believe the problem isn't with the cooling, but since the Z engine compartement is such a tight fit, that the heat from the engine will cause the oil to boil over.
If you are still concerned, how about changing the oil to a higher boiling point? Just some food for thought to save some money.

I have looked into the Stillen and the NISMO R-tuned Power Steering coolers.

We wanted to go with the Stillen, but I don't have any room left in the front of the car and a rear mounted setup was just not something I wanted to deal with. So we are installing the NISMO R-Tuned cooling unit w/larger piping.

Yes, even if your power steering goes out you can steer the car, but let me tell you cutting the turns on the Tail of the Dragon last month, anything less then say 15 MPH and it really starts to affect your turn in abilities.

I'm happy with my Stillen. Hasn't boiled over yet. Also switched to Amsoil fluid when I put her in. Good insurance mod IMO.

Jason. I agree with you in the most part. The problem appears to be in actually getting the damn parts. I am not sure what the issue is, but the last few times I have ordered Nismo parts they never seem to show up. I wait like weeks/month and then give up, cancel the order and go with something else. I have had this happen to me with a # of parts in the last couple of months. Is there a supply issue, or the company I am ordering them from?
