Default Low 12's high 11's?

Tried doing a search but didnt come up with any answers, search function reallly broad here. Anywho my question is this:

Current setup:
Headers,
test pipes,
y-pipe
UP pulley set
--------------------
Goal = Run low 12's or high 11's at track.
I want to get a single turbo kit and have the cash ready, however after the current setup I have I somehow someway barely (barely) beat 2 different stock evo 9's one was a MR.. dont call bs lol, I was surprised myself.

Back to point. What Mods are necessary to run the times I want? You can even include a shot of nitrous. SAFE MODS too btw lol.... Not 200 shot of nitrous..

Turbonetics w/ 400-420 whp, nice set of tires and a good driving skills should do the trick!

why a single? JWT's turbo puts out power like a cheap HO. Tranny upgrades will help out a great deal.

You only need about 400whp give or take 20whp to achieve 11's. I ran it with slightly less than 400whp on a Turbonetics Single, Jeremy did it on a 125 shot/bolt-ons/UTEC combo. Somebody mentioned the JWT TT kit, dont be fooled/convicned solely by power numbers or early torque alone, I have yet to see anybody drive a JWT under a 12.7 down the 1/4. Driving, and your track setup is much more important.

If 1/4 mile runs are a top priority, be sure to add the 3.9 Final Drive to your list.

Not for a boosted car...the gears are already short and with over 400 to the wheels I shift CONSTANTLY with my 3.5 final drive...it would be retarded with a 3.9 FD.

Thanks for all the replies! I forgot to mention lol....
"is LOW 12's or 11's possible WITHOUT turbo or supercharger kit?"

Are bolt ons alone with a shot of nitrous able to hit my mark? I want the car to be a sleeper lol. What the biggest shot of Nitrous the stock motor can handle SAFELY? any kit recommendations? Which bolt ons will help me get up their? Like I said , I never ran the car at the track yet, plan on going weds with current mods. I believe it will run low 13's shooting for at least 13.1, I'm a very good driver, and beat alot of cars somehow that run 12.9 stock or 13.3 stock.

shouldnt really use "biggest shot possible"and "safely" in the same sentance..

low 12s will be here soon naturally aspirated, i think they are very possible. a few of us are running high 12s NA with a few bolt ons. with high compression pistons, headwork, and few other things, we WILL be seeing some low 12 sec NA cars.

i was running 150 shot on a car with minor bolt ons and retarded timing. it seems to run just fine...

While I do think low-mid 12's is possible NA, I dont think we'll see it in a LONG time. Gonna take more than an impressive mods list to do it....run your car on Wednesday and get back to us with the results.

So a 125 shot will push my car into the 11's with my bolt on mods huh?

75 shot would do low to mid 12's?

This will truly depend on the driver I cannot stress that enough. Some could run 150 shot and never see 12.8 others could run a 75 shot and run 12.6. No guarantee as to what you'll run. Of course you'll tell us you can drive because guys and driving are like guys and sex we all think we are good at it Unfortunately look at all the 400+whp Z's that cant even run mid 12's
