Question for the Forum:

I just install the nismo thermostat. Well, since the place i got it from told me it was just a drop in replacement, I failed to check what it came with. I just grab the new gasket and thermostat and installed it. After the install and coolant flush and fill, I check for leaks and everything looks good. Well, as i was cleaning up, i found two other little rubber washers. I checked the instructions, but they are in Japanese. There was picture diagrams that came with it. The rubber washers should go with the two screws holding the thermostat with the Thermostat housing. I would really hate to start over and reinstall since it was pretty troublesome to reach the part. Can anyone here tell me what purpose those rubber washers serve??

the rubber washers are actually o-rings that are for the coolant bleed valve and the radiator drain plug. The Nissan service manual specifies replacing these o-rings after every removal, hence, Nismo includes replacements with the thermostat kit.
