Do US spec Z's use the metric system, such as all your nuts and bolts etc.. Also, what about aftermarket stuff for the Z, such as AAM fuel return, does that also come as metric, or do you have to adapt imperial parts to a metric car. Just wondering how it is across the pond.

I would hope that the manufacturer would make things to fit with the OE STUFF!
We are lucky... the 350Z / G35 products are made pretty well with great fitment for the Z and G... There are some exceptions but they are the knockoff company's that sell intake systems for $50 and things like that...
If you stick with brand name products... INJEN, AEM, TANABE, HKS, GReddy and most of the manufacturer's presant on this message board like Crawford, Motordyne, etc... you wont have any problems...

Its not really a problem about fitment issues, i can live with that, it's more about the right tools for the job. All my tools are metric. Just wondering if i would have to invest in some imperial ones too. Thank for the help though.
The only imperial bolts on my entire car are on the exhaust system I had made at a muffler shop here in NC (needless to say, I doubt they had a metric bolt in the whole shop). All of my aftermarket parts are metric through-out (except maybe my fuel pressure regulator, can't remember because it is made by aeromotive, not that that makes any difference)
