Default Grounding Kit: Thread lock??

Just received my grounding kit from Insane. (right on bro!) Is thread lock really necessary?? Anyone NOT use them?

Highly recommended (and cheap)! Keeps those hard to reach bolts from vibrating loose over time.

You would hate to have to take the hood sensor off again just to tighten a loose bolt, wouldn't you?

I didnt, but you probably should. particularly cause you cant tighten the bolts into the aluminum very much at all.

totally agree that it should be used

as ares says, it is difficult to tighten into the aluminum very much. I overtightened one, then backed it off with extra lock-tite. Now it is secure

I didn't use it. They don't use it when they build the car. I believe they'll stay tight.

I didn't use it. Actually, I broke the head off of one of the supplied screws. Don't tighten too much.

I got my Locktite at Sears. But most hardware stores should have it too.
