I apologize--Dawned on me u live in NY---U can use the Coolant Control Valve (CCV) if u want---Below 55 degrees u open it.
The Copper Throttle Body heater can be used in either warm or cool climates eliminating having to mess with the CCV

5/16th Isothermal plenum spacer. You can install yourself, just take your time. The instructions are very straight forward. Note: you MUST have a torque wrench, and notice that the torque specs. are in INCH/lbs. not foot lbs.
